Family (EDLC Day #14)

Here is day #14! I am SO glad that I was able to do the entire challenge. It was really amazing to get 14 layouts done in 2 weeks. Hard some days, but definitely worth it. ;)

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Life's Journey; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Recollections Pearls; DMC Floss; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Making Memories Sanding Block; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Heidi Swapp "Family" Stamp

Our scrapping group is planning on doing another challenge like this in the summer, but that one will be for 30 days! I'll have to think about whether I can do it or not. I think I could, but we'll see how things are going then. :)

Thanks for checking out all of my EDLC's been great! Next week I plan to work on cards, so I should have some new ones to share soon. Have an awesome day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

My sweet hubby brought home 3 beautiful roses last for me and then one for each of our girls. It's kind of our thing that he brings me a single red rose every now and then, and it's always so special to me. Now, the girls each get their own rose too. ;) Isn't he just the greatest?? I am so blessed...

I hope you all have an amazing Valentine's day with your families! I'll see you later today to share the last day of the EDLC with you...

Sweet (EDLC Day #13)

For day #13, I used this sweet picture of Emily. I truly can't belive that my baby just turned 10! This is an awesome picture of her because that smile shows who she really is on the amazing little girl who loves everyone around her and who wears her heart on her sleeve. This girl of mine makes me smile and be thankful to be her mommy...

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper - Blush; Making Memories Tiny Alphas - Chloe's Closet; K&Company Puffy Hearts Pillow Stickers

Wow, there's only one day of the challenge left! It's been tough some days but worth it because I've gotten so many pages done. I'm really glad I did it. :) I'll see you tomorrow...

Love (EDLC Day #12)

For day #12 of the EDLC, I decided to do another 8x8 page, and this time, it's my honey and me. I don't scrap pictures of the two of us enough, and that's something I definitely need to change. I love this man with my entire being. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, amazing husband a girl could ask for, and on top of that, the best daddy in the world. :)
I want to make sure that while I'm scrapping the pictures of our beautiful girls and our wonderful little family, that I also remember to scrap our love story. It needs to be told...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Classic; Heidi Swapp "Love" Stamp; Making Memories Tiny Alphas - Brown Ledger; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan

So I'm planning on scrapping this picture again sometime soon for us (as soon as I can get another copy), with a whole bunch of lovey, dovey, mushy journaling. That's what a love story should be about right? ;) Thanks for looking...and listening to me gush about my sweetie.

Be You (EDLC Day #11)

Another day finished! Today's another busy day for me so I got working on my page first thing. It's another 8x8 page for today too. I'm really loving this size, although there isn't really room for alot of journaling. In albums for other people, that's ok, but for me, I'm not so sure it would work. I'll have to think about it some more. ;)

Supplies: Sassafrass lass Paper Pad - Hog Heaven; K&Company Paper Pad - Roam; Fiskars Flower Punch; Martha Stewart Scallop Circle Punch; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan

Only 3 days to go in the challenge! Very exciting. :)

Rain (EDLC Day #9)

Another day done! I saw a post on the Cosmo Cricket blog this morning about a sketch challenge from 2/3, so I decided to try my hand at it. The sketch is based on a layout by Amy Parker, which is just gorgeous! I had alot of fun making my page and I really love how it turned out...

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Paper - Girl Friday; Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch; Fiskars Heart Punch; Doodlebug Cardstock Loopy Lou Alphabet Stickers - Bon Bon; Making Memories Sanding Block

There's only 5 more days of the EDLC! I'm SO glad that I've made it this far. I never would have thought I could make a layout each day for 9 days in a row, so I'm a litle proud of myself. :) Here's hoping I make it the whole 14 days!

Remember (EDLC Day #8)

Here's another page that I finished yesterday, but not in time for a good picture. This is why I usually scrap during the day...I like to take my pictures right when I'm done and get them posted. Anyway, this is another 8x8 page and I kept it simple and sweet, like my girls. :)

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper - Delightful; K&Company Paper Pad - Classic; Making Memories Paper - FabricBrocade Greenhouse Paperie; Prima Flower; American Crafts Button, Lasting Impressions Scrappy Rubs - Inspire; Making Memories Sanding Block

I'm going to try really hard to get the other pages done each day before my light is gone. ;) Thanks for looking...

Laughter (EDLC Day #7)

I just got done with day #7 of my EDLC. I wanted to get started early because later I'll have my mind on FOOTBALL, not on scrapping. ;) I did another page for the 8x8 album I'm working on and I really love this one. It turned out exactly like I wanted it scrapper's block today!

Supplies: Fancy Pants Paper - Simplicity & Key Lime Pie Collections; Slice (photo corners and circles for the lollipop flower); Fancy Pants Die Cut; Making Memories Button, Making Memories Sanding Block

I'll be back tomorrow with day #8. Go SAINTS!!!!! :)

My Sister (EDLC Day #6)

Here's another EDLC page that I finished yesterday, but it was at 11:50 pm, so I had no good light for a picture. I had some stuff to do yesterday and then once I got started scrapping, I was totally blocked. It was awful! I remembered about an 8x8 album I wanted to make for someone though, and that got the wheels turning. ;)

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Paper Pad - Girl Friday; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Recollections Pearls; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; DMC Floss; Making Memories Sanding Block

One good thing I found out from this is that I just LOVE doing 8x8 pages! It's sooooooo much easier to fill the space and I really like how full the pages look. I'm thinking I may start doing some 8x8 albums for myself sometime soon... :)

Music Love (EDLC Day #5)

I just finished day #5 of this challenge. It seemed like it took FOREVER today but I'm guessing that's because I kept having to stop and do something for the girls. Don't they understand my need to scrap?? ;) Anyway, I chose this awesome picture of Emily to use. My friend Amanda took it last year and I just love it! It totally captures who Emily is, both then and now, always listening to her MP3 player. She really loves music and can't get enough of it...

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper Pad - Blush; Slice (bigger heart); Slice Basic Shapes 1 Card; Fiskars Heart Squeeze Punch (smaller heart); Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Fancy pants Die Cut (saying)

So far, this challenge has been pretty easy to keep up with and I'm excited that I'm getting so many pages done. It's a great feeling of accomplishment. :) Thanks for looking!

Got PB&J? (EDLC Day #4)

I just finished day #4 of my EDLC and I am so loving this page! Madison adores pb&j. She could eat it 3 times a day/7 days a week and not get tired of it. Her favorite thing to do is take the sandwich apart and dip her fingers in the peanut butter and then lick it off. This of course is NOT a favorite part of mine, since it's usually pretty messy, but she's too cute to make her stop, lol. :)

Supplies: Sassafras Lass Paper Pad - Hog Heaven; Basic Grey Chipboard Letters - Hip; Fiskars Heart Squeeze Punch (That's Amore & Funky Love); Making Memories Sanding Block

See? You couldn't make a face like that stop either could you? ;) See you tomorrow for day #5!

Cute (EDLC Day #3)

Even though I'm posting this today, I actually did do day #3 yesterday. It was really late when I finished it though (10 pm) so the picture wasn't all that great since I didn't have any natural light. I got a better one today, even though it's all cloudy outside, ugh. Anyway, I LOVE these pictures of Emily! They really show who she is right now...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Greenhouse; Heidi Swapp "Cute" Stamp; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Fiskars Heart Squeeze Punch

Is that title just perfect for her or what? ;) She is TOO cute! Thanks for looking...

Just Two Cute! (EDLC Day #1)

The scrapbooking group I'm in has decided to do a challenge this month. We're calling it the EDLC or Every Day Layout Challenge. Today was day #1 and I was soooo excited to get going! I chose this picture of my beautiful girls from Thanksgiving that I wanted to scrap, and found the perfect papers to go along with it...
