Cardabilities Reveal #14

Hi there!! It's time for another fabulous reveal at Cardabilities today. :) I can see so many uses for this sketch! I decided to use it to make a Halloween card for a friend. I kept it pretty simple, but distressed the edges to give it more depth. I like how it turned out and hopefully she will too!

Supplies: Bo Bunny Paper - Whoo-ligans; Studio G Stamp; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Blackbird; Craftsmart Ink - Black; Marvy 3/4" Circle Punch; Martha Stewart Star Confetti Punch; Cuttlebug; Quickutz Nameplate Die; Basic Grey Brads; Tim Holtz Edge Distresser

Make sure you stop by the Cardabilities blog to see all of the DT cards...they're awesome!! Also, we'd love it if you played along with us and created a card of your own using the sketch. If you do, be sure to link it up and we'll leave you lots of love. ;) Have an awesome day!!

The Paper Variety Challenge #7!

Hello there! It's time for another challenge at The Paper Variety!! We have a really cool challenge for you this week...photo inspiration! All you do is take whatever inspiration you see in the photo and create a project with it. You can use the colors, the design, the distressed feel of it...whatever works for you! I went with the design of block pattern for my page and I absolutely LOVE it!

Supplies: Echo Park Paper - Sweet Summertime; Cosmo Cricket Paper - Honey Pie (Red); Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Tea Dye & Scattered Straw; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Marvy 3/4" Circle Punch; Heidi Grace Alpha Rub-ons; Chipboard Button; Tim Holtz Paper Distresser; Making Memories Sanding Block; Twine

This is my baby at her birthday party this year. I still can't believe she's 5! I love this shot I got of her blowing out the candles on her cake and I think the colors match this Sweet Summertime paper from Echo Park perfectly. Don't you just love it when that happens?? ;)

So, are you feeling inspired?? Take a look at the photo, do some brainstorming and then get creating! If you link up your project by next Tuesday at noon, you'll be in the drawing to win this amazing prize sponsored by Apron Strings Designs...

I can't wait to see what you do! Oh, and make sure you head over to the blog and check out all of the DT member's projects. Everyone rocked this challenge!! :)

Halloween Treat Bags!

I decided to do some Halloween treat bags for the girls to take to school this year. I just finished Madison's and I think they turned out super cute!! She really loves them...

I used the awesome Whoo-ligans line from BoBunny for the bag topper, along with some adorable ribbon I found on sale at Michaels. I used the ribbon to attach spider rings to each treat bag...pretty creepy right?? :) I think they'll be a hit!

Bonus...this week the challenge over at The Paper Variety is to create something that incorporates candy or something yummy. Since it's not my DT week, I can enter and try to win the prize! Now that's what I call cool. ;)
