Fruit of The Spirit (Artful Delight)

Goooooood morning!!! I am SO glad that I finally had a chance to do some more creating with the February kit from Artful Delight! It's been a crazy month with my girls both getting Strep and then making me sick also, so I haven't had much time to do any crafting. Thankfully everyone is feeling much better now and yesterday I got to work. ;)

The papers in this kit are SO pretty...almost too pretty to cut into! I really loved all the greens so I decided to make something based around that color (which happens to be my fav!) and this wall hanging just came to life...

Supplies Used From The February Artful Delight Kit: Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime Papers - Enchanted Forest & Woodland Fantasy; My Minds Eye So Sophie Savvy Die-Cut Frame; Kaisercraft Pearls

Other Supplies Used: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peeled Paint; Crop-A-Dile; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; DCWV Vellum Quote; Bazzill Flower; Prima Flower; Basic Grey Button

I think it turned out great!! I already have a perfect person in mind to give it to, and I just know she'll really love it. :)

So, were you lucky enough to get your hands on a kit this month? I know they're already sold out, so if you wanted one, I hope you grabbed it up! If not, don't worry...next's months kit will also be amazing and you can preorder one just as soon as Leeanne is able to get the preview up for it. Trust me, you'll love it, so don't wait if you want one!

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)

My Funny Valentines

Happy Valentine's Day!! I want to share a layout I made last week with you today, and this is definitely the perfect time for it. ;) Last month, May Arts posted about a challenge called Sweet Nothings on their blog. The way it works is that whoever wanted to participate in the challenge could go to their website, pick out some ribbon to be sent to them, and then promise to create a Valentine's project by today, using some of the ribbon they received on it. Of course I wanted to join so I went to their site and chose an amazing brown color of their Ric Rac, and sent in my email. After I received the ribbon in the mail, I couldn't wait to get started!

At first I thought I would make a mini album because I had this chipboard heart and I really liked it. I went to work on it, covering it with paper and attaching the ribbon and some flowers. Once it was done though, I thought it was way to pretty to get lost as the cover of a mini, so I decided to use it on a layout instead. I am SO glad I did because I loooooove this page so much!!

Supplies: BoBunny Paper - Love Bandit; BoBunny Double Dot Cardstock - Flamingo Dot; Technique Tuesday/Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Loving Words; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Espresso; i-rock; i-rock Pink Gems; Doodlebug Loopy Lou Cardstock Alphabet Stickers - Bon Bon; May Arts Ric Rac Ribbon; Bazzill Flower; Recollections Flower; Papertrey Ink Button; Tim Holtz Edge Distresser; Making Memories Sanding Block

Isn't that just so pretty?? This is one of my most favorite pictures because it has my amazing family in it and they all just look so happy! They are definitely my Valentines and I couldn't ask for anything more. ;)

Thank you SO much to May Arts for letting me be a part of their fun challenge! Their ribbon is amazing, both in looks and quality, and alot of fun to work with too. :) If you'd like to see all of the challenge entries, be sure to stop by the May Arts blog today and check them out!
