Another card to share...

Well, I've been doing housework instead of scrapping today (I know, why would I do that right?), but I did get another card done during breaks. Simple, but sweet. :)

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper Pad - Lemonade; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Hero Arts Clear Stamps - Thinking Of You; Recollections Pearls

I'm headed of to do some laundry now, but I'm hoping I'll get some more cards done later. Maybe after the girls are in bed. ;) Thanks for looking!

Mojo Monday Card

I decided to play along with Mojo Monday's sketch this week and I am LOVING how the card turned out! I really like being able to look at a sketch and have an idea pop into my head, which is exactly what happened for this card...

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper Pad - Lemonade; Stampin' Up! "Happy Birthday" Stamp; Recollections Pearls; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Autumn Leaves Clear Buttons; Ranger Ink Glossy Accents, Fiskars Scallop Border Punch

Ok, I'm off to create some more. With over a foot of snow outside, I've definitely got an excuse to do nothing but scrap, lol! Thanks for looking. ;)

BoBunny Challenge Card

BoBunny is having a card challenge on their blog right now and it's so simple! All you have to do is use their paper and use hearts on your card. Easy right? It gave me the chance to use some of the Kitchen Spice papers I've been hoarding! I really looooooove this collection. The colors are so warm and gorgeous! Right up my alley...

Supplies: BoBunny Paper - Kitchen Spice; Heidi Swapp "Love" Stamp; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy, Fiskars "Funky Love" Squeeze Punch (Extra Large)

If you want to play along, you have until 2/7 to upload your card, and you have a chance to win some of their super cute "Love Bandit" papers. :)

Finally!

I got my scrapping mojo back today! ;) I haven't done a layout since the 5th, ugh. That's not normal for me and I was definitely having withdrawls. I just couldn't seem to do anything about it though. Every time I'd pull out a picture or some papers to get started, I'd get total scrapper's block. NOT a fun feeling at all. Thankfully today though, when I pulled out this picture, I instantly knew what papers I wanted to use for it and I LOVE how it turned out!

Supplies: Sassafras Lass Paper Pad - Hog Heaven; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Brushed Corduroy; Tim Holtz Edge Distresser; Basic Grey Alphabet Letters; Making Memories Tiny Alpha Stickers - Chloe's Closet; Ali Edwards Handwriting Font

My sweet Madison sharing some kisses with her daddy. They are TOO adorable, aren't they? ;) Thanks for looking. I hope to have some more to share soon...

Gifts...

I made some Christmas gifts this year that turned out great! I would have posted before but needed to wait until they were all received first. ;) I did 4 wall hangings and 2 framed layouts. It's so nice giving a handmade gift that you can tell is really appreciated...

*My best friend Cathy, along with her hubby Adam (also my brother-in-law) and their 4 kids - Daniel, Marybeth, Hannah & Abbey. The journaling is something that was written by Cathy about what Holiday traditions mean to her. It's absolutely beautiful...

*My mom Mary and her hubby Mike. This Scripture was read at their wedding and I thought it went perfectly with this great picture of them...

*My mother-in-law Arlene (far right) visiting with her friends Polly & Harold. They are like parents to her and she asked me to make this for them, which I gladly did...

*This is a poem written by a sweet lady named Hilda, who is a dear friend of my mother-in-law, Arlene. When I read it, I was so moved and knew I needed to make her something to celebrate it...

*My baby sister Maryann and myself. She's about to turn 23 and has grown into such a responsible, wonderful person. I just love her so much and am sooooo proud of her!!

*My sister Amy and niece Kasey. They both seem to avoid my camera as much as possible, so when I got this picture of them together, I knew I had to scrap it! They really liked it so I'm happy I did...

Sorry about the pictures...they were taken at night so the colors are off a little. You get the general idea though, right? :) Thanks for looking!
