The Paper Variety Challenge #31!

Helllllo!!! It's time for another awesome challenge at The Paper Variety. :) This week we have a super fun one for you and it's to use polka dots! Everybody loves polka dots, so this should be really easy to play along with...

Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Sets - Favorite Memories & Adored By Ali; Fiskars Circle Punches; Making Memories Brads; Making Memories Sanding Block

For my project, I decided to do a layout with subtle polka dots. The picture is one of my brother-in-law and his wife (who is also my BFF!) at a Marine Ball a couple of years ago. I absolutely loooove this picture of them so I wanted to keep the page simple to let it shine and I love the results!

So is your mind spinning with polka dot possibilities?? If so, then go and get creative! If you post your project to TPV's blog by next Tuesday at noon, you'll be in the running for our amazing prize, which is a $25 gift certificate to The Paper Trail!! Wouldn't that be fun to spend? :)

Also, be sure to stop by the blog today and see all the fabulous DT creations because you'll be inspired to get creating for sure! I can't wait to see what you do. :)

We Thank God (Artful Delight)

Hi there! I finally had a chance to sit down and make a layout using the sketch from Artful Delight this month so I wanted to share it with you. I think this sketch is awesome! It's one of those that has tons of ways to use it and the pages will all still look unique...my favorite kind for sure. ;)

Supplies Used from The Artful Delight April Kit: Pink Paislee "Hometown Summer" Paper - Summer Fun & Neighborhood Pool; My Mind's Eye "Good Day Sunshine" Paper - Uptown; October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" Buttons
Other Supplies Used: Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Loving Words; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punches; Fiskars Triangle Punch; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; Making Memories Sanding Block

I think this page is just SO cute!! It's my niece Abbey, just being her adorable little self and she is tooooo precious. ;)

So are you loving the kit this month?? If so, make sure you grab one for yourself before they're all gone...you'll be thrilled that you did! Thanks for stopping by today!

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)

Remember Mini (Artful Delight)

Hello friends! I have a mini album to share with you today that I made using the Artful Delight April kit...

Supplies Used from The Artful Delight April Kit: October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" Paper - Clothespins & Cherry Pie; Maya Road Chipboard Frame
Other Supplies Used: Colorbox Chalk Ink - chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Favorite Memories; Papertry Ink Stamp Set - Journaling Lines; Studio Calico Date Stamp; Marth Stewart Butterfly Punches; Crop-A-Dile; Button

I love how cute it turned out to be! My mother-in-law is staying with us right now and she inspired the idea of this mini. She's constantly writing things down...quotes, Bible verses, notes, recipes, etc...and I thought it would be really good for her to have one place to put them all together. And I was right because she LOVES it! I even kept one of the pages so that I can recreate them for her at any time. ;)

So, if you haven't had the chance to get an April kit for yourself yet and you want to, make sure you act fast because there are only a few left. I promise you'll be SO happy with everything in it if you get one. :)

Create (Artful Delight)

Good morning friends! I wanted to let you know about a really cool blog hop that Leeanne (the owner of Artful Delight) is participating in today. It's a celebration of "no housework day"!! Seriously, how cool is that?? ;) Leeanne asked the Artful Delight DT if we would create something for her to share as part of the blog hop, and I was happy to join in! I decided that if I had no housework, I would be creating something, and this is what I came up with to show that...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight April Kit: October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" Paper - Clothespins & Cherry Pie; American Crafts Cardstock - Crimson
Other Supplies Used: Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Simply You & Favorite Memories; Heidi Swapp Clear Alphabet Letters; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Espresso; Ranger Stickles - Christmas Red; Papertry Ink Doily Die; Papertrey Ink Butterfly Dies; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Tim Holtz Adage Tickets; Tim Holtz Filmstrip Ribbon; Tim Holtz Metal Clock; Tim Holtz Mini Paperclips; Basic Grey Buttons

I am SO in love with how this turned out!! There aren't many times that I let myself just start putting things down without planning where everything will go, but I did with this and it worked out great. ;) I love it so much that it's already framed and up on my wall! So, if you want to be part of a really cool blog hop, make sure you visit Leeanne's blog here and see how to get hopping! ;)
