Hello there! Today is my first DT post for Sketches In Thyme and I've got a great sketch to share with you...
Supplies: Fancy Pants Love Birds Paper - Loves Me Loves Me Not, Only One, Sending My Love; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Tim Holtz Distress Marker - Walnut Stain; Studio Calico Mister Huey - Calico White, Dark Calico; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Loving Words; AC/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Roller Date Stamp; Fiskars Flit On By Punch; Jillibean Soup Corrugated Butterfly; Basic Grey Button
I took these pictures of my girls after a long day of swimming and relaxing and I love that they look so happy together. It's just what a mama wants to see from her girls. :)
I changed up the sketch a little to work for my pictures, but you can definitely see the basics of the sketch in the background, and it just goes to show you how amazingly versatile sketches can be! Don't ever be afraid to use a sketch as your starting point and then make it your own...you never know where your creativity will take you!
If you have a minute, please stop by the Sketches In Thyme blog post for today and check out what the other ladies did with the sketch. I'm sure you'll love what you see! ;)
