Field Trip

Last week I saw a sketch over at Pretty Little Studio's blog and fell in love with it! The simple look of it really appealed to me and I wanted to make a layout with it asap, so last night, I pulled out some papers and got to work...

I actually find that this happens to me alot of the time, but I'm completely fine with it because it shows you just how versatile sketches can be! Always remember that no matter what kind of sketch you start with, you can always put your own little spin on it and create something totally unique. ;)

--------------------

Now it's time for me to introduce you to a new Artful Delight Designer! I'm very pleased to have you meet Marlene...

"Hi, my name is Marlene. I’m 27 years old, have been married for 8 years and have two wonderful little boys. I fell in love with papercrafting when I was pregnant with my first son and saw all of the beautiful things that could be done - it's been 7 years since then! I love my Cricut Expression and Design Studio. I use them for almost EVERY project; together they have expanded my creativity level. Along with them, I love to use sketches, chipboard, inks, bling – stickles & pearls, my Signo White Pen, digital sentiments, and lots of layers on most of my creations. However, if I had to describe my crafting style, I'd say its Simple & Clean. Papercrafting has not only provided me with a creative outlet but also a way to find tranquilty and great satisfaction when I see my projects come to life. I enjoy sharing all my work with everyone thru my blog, Scrappin Cookie."

Pretty cool right? I can't wait to see what Marlene will do with the Artful Delight kits. :) She's your next stop on the hop, so be sure to visit her blog and leave her some love!!
