I recently got some of the Thrift Shop collection by October Afternoon and I was so excited to get to use it for this!! I did my layout about my sweet hubby and it's definitely one of my most recent favs...

I seem to scrap mostly about my beautiful girls, which of course I love, but I realized lately that I don't scrap enough pages about us. I seriously need to change that because our relationship is amazing! This layout is a great start because I really focused on the journaling and made it a priority. I definitely see many more pages like this one in my future. :)

The theme of the hop is "Celebrating Our Milestones" and since I consider having my first child to be a huge milestone in my life, I chose to do my layout about that. I used one of my all-time favorite pictures of my oldest daughter Emily from when she was only 2 hours old (seriously though, how CUTE is she??) and I just love the way it turned out...

When I started working on this page, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to do! It's a really special picture to me and I wanted to let it shine, so I kept the design simple, and it worked out to be great! Two super cute girls, awesome journaling, a few sweet embellishments, and some fabulous paper...it can't get any better than that, right?? :)

Next week I'll have some projects to share using February's kit which is amazing and you should definitely grab one up!

Is that cute or what?? I'm so happy with how it turned out. I even had some fun making my own scalloped circle and flower! Both were super easy to do and look great too. :)

Cute stuff right?? The mini album is full of blank pages inside, just waiting to be filled! I gave it to my sister for her birthday yesterday and I think she really loved it! And the jar...I'm keeping that for myself, and it sure looks ready to be filled with some yummy candy don't you think?? ;)

I seriously have to tell you that I'm amazed at all the wonderful product you get in these kits! Leeanne does an awesome job putting them together. Sadly, January's kit is sold out, but I'll continue to share the projects I make with it so that you can see how much you can do with a kit. Plus, February will be here before you know it so maybe that'll be your time to grab one up and see what you can do!
