As cute as can be!

Cute is right!! I did this page of Maddie a couple of nights ago and I think it's just precious...

I finally (I say finally because I've wanted some for months now!) got a set of flourish stamps a couple of weeks ago. I found some cheap and was able to use a coupon so in the buggy they went. ;) The other day, I decided to try using one on a layout for the first time. I stamped in both corners and also along the edges of my photo mat. I think it gives a really nice effect! I know I'll be using these stamps alot on future pages... :)

Hi

I made another card from some scraps today. The look of it is along the same lines as the layout above...I loved the look so much, I decided to use it twice! ;) I think it turned out great...

Not sure who this one is for yet, but hopefully it'll brighten someone's day when I figure it out, lol!

Thank heaven for little girls...

I did a layout of my sweeties last night that is soooo cute!

I just LOVE this picture. Sometimes I make the girls have photo shoots with me outside. They aren't always happy about it but they do it for their mama. ;) This was the 5th shot I took of them together, and in this shot, Maddie's actually trying to get up so Emily tickled her and they both started laughing. The unposed shots always seem to turn out the best, don't they?? ;)

Scripture Challenge - Joy

I did the next layout for my Scripture challenge last night...

The meaning behind this verse really gives me such an amazing feeling!! The Lord has given me so much and verses like this one help me remember to be thankful and praise Him for it all every day...

Beautiful...

I got another layout finished a few minutes ago and I am soooo in love with it!! My mother-in-law was just here visiting us, and on a trip to Michael's, she found a paper pad (K&Company Life's Journey) that she really loved, so she bought it. When we got home, she gave it to me!! She told me to just make her something pretty with it. Well, I did make something pretty, but it's for me, LOL!! I don't think she'll mind though since it's her gorgeous grandbaby. ;)

I guess I better get busy making her something with it too, hehe... ;)

Imagine...

I have a gorgeous niece named Marybeth who's 8 and quite an artist from what I hear. I saw this quote today and thought of her so I made her this card for inspiration...

I love how it turned out and I hope she does too! :)

Cards rock! ;)

I'm really getting into making cards lately. I'm not a pro at it or anything but so far I've made my best friend Cathy 2 of them and my mom-in-law Arlene one, and they both loved them, so I guess I'm doing something right. ;) I made another one tonight and when I went to share it with you all, I realized I haven't shared the others yet either. So, I'll share them all now...well, except for Arlene's which I forgot to take a picture of before I gave it to her, gasp!! ;)

So there they are...I hope you enjoyed them. Are there any other card makers out there? I'd love any tips you can share with me if so! :)

Things Above...

I did a layout a couple of nights ago with Emily on it that I REALLY love! I took a couple of different ideas from projects I saw online (see below) and put them together and this is what I got...

*Inspired by both Kelly Goree's "Love" layout seen here,
and Shanna Vineyard's "Lucky Me Grateful" journal seen here

Isn't it adorable?? ;) This picture is just precious to start with and then when I was sitting here working on the page, this Bible verse popped into my head. I think it fits perfectly...

This is your time to shine...

I got this amazing shot of Madison one day when we were walking to the bus stop to get Emily and I instantly knew I wanted to do some sort of page about time with it. I think it worked great!

I am SO in love with this layout!! First of all, I made it green...alllll of it, lol. I just adore the color green so I was really happy with that part of it for sure. ;) Second, it was so freeing to just throw everything down where I wanted to...no measuring to put something exactly in the center, or making sure everything was just right. The reason for this was actually a challenge in my scrapping group to do a slanted layout. Everything from the paper to the picture to the embellishments had to be slanted. It was a TRUE challenge for me, but I really loved doing it. I let my creative side take over and look what happened!

I seriously wish I could make myself do this more often. I just did one thing, and then another, and then kept adding more steps until the page felt complete. And I had so much fun with it! :) We'll see if I'm able to do it again or not though, lol...

I was able to get another layout for Cathy done today...

These are some pictures she took of the kids last summer...aren't they so precious?? ;)

Love is...

I did a layout last night of Mark and myself...

This picture was taken (by me as always, lol!) over at Mark's Nanny's house a few weeks ago. I really liked it, so I got a 5x7 made to scrap. It's hard sometimes to do pics of us since it seems like he's ALWAYS wearing a Panthers jersey, LOL, and it's quite a challenge to try and match the color to my papers. This paper might not match exactly but I still love how it turned out! ;)

Children...

Here's the layout I did for Cathy the other night that I was talking about in my earlier post...

I just love this one! These pictures are so precious and they all look so happy, don't they?? I'm having so much fun doing these albums for her... :)

Scripture Challenge - Comfort

Here's the next page for my Scripture challenge...

I loved doing this one! The verse I found was absolutely perfect...especially as a mommy. :)
