Teeny Tiny Albums (Artful Delight)

Good morning!!! Could the title of my post be any cuter?? ;) I was going to just put mini albums up there, but what I've got to show you today is much smaller than a normal mini album, so teeny tiny it is. There are 3 of them which were all created using the May kit from Artful Delight...

Supplies USed From The Artful Delight May Kit: Echo Park Summer Days Paper - Big Dots, Borders, Quilt, Red/Green, Blue/Orange, Yellow/Purple; Bazzill White Cardstock
Other Supplies Used: Colorbox chalk Ink - Chestnut roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Sets - It's In The Details, Adored By Ali & Loving Words; We R Memory Keepers Crop-A-Dile; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punches; Fiskars Circle Punch; Marvy Circle Punch; Recollections Flower; Misc. Buttons

Aren't they just adorable?? I am so loving making these! One of them is 4" x 3" and the other ones are 3" x 2 1/2". The perfect size for a small album to tuck into your purse and have with you whenever you need it. There are 20 pages inside each album, which have been stamped with various stamps that go along with each of the covers. I think it's a fantastic idea and I've already started on 5 more themes! And talk about having TONS of choices for paper from this kit! I loooove all the bright colors and amazing patterns. :)

I hope you're inspired to try making a teeny tiny album yourself. I promise that once you start, you won't want to stop...they are fun! Also, make sure you grab a May kit to work with while you're at it...you'll love it!

Remember This (Artful Delight)

Hello there!! I made a little project yesterday using the May Artful Delight kit that I'd like to share with you. The idea for this came to me one day while browsing that all too familiar $1 aisle at Michaels, when I found some super cute little notebooks that I thought would be perfect for altering. It turns out I was right because it turned out great!

Supplies Used from The Artful Delight May Kit: Echo Park Summer Days Paper - Diecut & Blue/Orange; Echo Park Summer Days Chipboard Banner; Reasonable Ribbon Yellow Gingham Ribbon
Other Supplies Used: Tim Holtz Scattered Straw Distress Ink; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Favorite Memories; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Tim Holtz Edge Distresser; Misc. Buttons

Isn't that just so sweet?? I love how perfectly the color of the notebook matches the colors in the kit this month. I guess it was meant to be, right? ;) I also took some Scattered Straw Distress Ink (which also matches perfectly!) and stamped a date on each page inside, along with the word "remember". It's awesome!!

So have you gotten your hands on a kit this month? If not, be sure to grab one because it's amazing and there are only 2 left! It's soooooo full of paper and has some really great ribbon and embellishments to match. Definitely a kit for those Spring pictures you're taking and the Summer ones to come!

Is this cute or what? (Artful Delight)

Hello there! I wanted to share a quick project I did last week with the Artful Delight December Kit. I needed a small gift for my sister for Christmas so I decided to alter a picture frame for her desk at work. I used this great picture of her and her honey and I think it turned out great! She really loved it...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight December Kit: Echo Park Wintertime Paper - Stripes

Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock - Red Rock; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Cuttlebug; Cuttlebug Heart Die; Fiskars Heart Punch; Papertrey Ink Button; Twine; Recollections Pearls

Isn't that cute?? I guess I wouldn't really call it altering a picture frame since it's really just a clear frame that I embellished, but you get the picture, right? ;) The best part about this was how easy it was to do! The entire thing took me about 25 minutes and cost about $1. Can't beat that!

I'm sorry to say that the December kit is sold out but hopefully you'll still be inspired to try something like this yourself. It's alot of fun! :) Thanks for stopping by today...

Teacher goodies! (Artful Delight)

Hello there! I've got a super quick project to share with you today. If you're looking for a cute idea for some homemade candy jars, this is a great one! I went by my local Michaels last week and picked up some embellishment jars on sale and then headed over to Target and grabbed a bag of Hershey's Kisses. After I got home, I pulled out my Artful Delight December Kit and went to work. This is what I made...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight December Kit: Echo Park Wintertime Paper - Frost (I used the back that has (4) 6x6 patterns on it...one for each side of the jar); Ranger Stickles - Christmas Red; Little Yellow Bicycle Christmas Jewel Stickers

Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock - Red Rock; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Sentimentally Ali; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Snow Cap; Ranger Stickles - Diamond; Martha Stewart Scallop Heart Border Punch; Fiskars Star Punches; Maya Road Chipboard Snowflakes; American Crafts Buttons

Is that cute or what?? I made 6 of them...one for each of the teachers my daughters have this year. I just know they'll love them! Hey, everybody likes chocolate right?? ;)

So, if you need a quick little gift, this could be perfect for you. Grab any kind of jar, some candy, some supplies and get creating...I guarantee you'll make somebody very happy!

Snow Cute!! (Artful Delight)

I am so excited to share with you today! Last week I received my December kit from Artful Delight and I couldn't WAIT to start creating with it! Why was I soooo excited you ask? Well, because the paper collection in this kit is Echo Park's Wintertime! I just adore Echo Park. ADORE them! And Leeanne picked some amazing things to go along with the collection...just look at all of this amazing product...

Is that awesome or what?? :) To see a list of everything included in the kit and how you can get one for yourself, you can visit the Artful Delight store here.

Our amazing DT member Debbie created the sketch for December and it's fabulous! As soon as I saw it, I knew just what picture I wanted to use, and I think my layout turned out great. :) Here's the sketch along with pics of my page...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight December Kit: Echo Park Wintertime Papers - Snow, Snowman, & Journaling Cards (the back of it); Ranger Stickles - Christmas Red; Chipboard Snowman

Other Supplies: Bazzill Cardstock - Red Rock; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Papertrey Ink Banner Die; Fiskars Circle Punches; Ranger Stickles - Frosted Lace; Adirondack Paint Dabbers - Snow Cap & Espresso; Maya Road Chipboard Letters - William; Baker's Twine; Papertrey Ink Buttons

Madison looooooved that hat, and definitely looked "Snow Cute" in it, don't you think?? Ok, ok, so maybe I was a little bit corny with the play on words there, but that's me, so I'm cool with it, lol! ;) I'd definitely have to say that my favorite part of the layout is that ADORABLE little snowman! It was so much fun decorating and putting him together. Love it!

Be sure to check out the Artful Delight blog this week to see everyone's take on the sketch. Also, if you play along and create a project using the sketch, you'll be in the drawing to win January's kit for FREE! Can't beat that right? :) Good luck if you enter, and thanks for stopping by today...

The Paper Variety Challenge #3!

It's time for our third challenge over at The Paper Variety! This week "The sky is the limit!". The idea is to use anything you might see in the sky as your theme...birds, butterflies, kites, clouds, stars, the sun, etc. Really cool idea. ;)

Anyone who knows me could probably guess that I chose to use butterflies for my theme...I love them! I recently won an Echo Park "A Walk In The Park" collection pack and the butterfly patterned paper was just perfect for me! I used it to create a mini album/address book. It's something I've wanted to do for a while now and I am SO happy with it...

Supplies: Echo Park Paper - A Walk In The Park; Bazzill Kraft Cardstock (Inside Pages); Cosmo Cricket Lacing Cards (Covers); Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Espresso; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; WRMK Corner Chomper; I-Rock; I-Rock Gems; Cosmo Cricket Tiny Type Alphabet Stickers; DMC Floss

Super quick and easy to do, and cute on top of that! :)

So do you have an idea in mind for this challenge? If so, we'd love to have you play along with us! There's an amazing prize up for grabs, sponsered by The Scrapbooking Cottage, and it's a Cosmo Cricket Togetherness Crafting Kit!

Please take a minute and head over to The Paper Variety and check out all of the other DT member's projects...they're fabulous!! I'm really looking forward to seeing yours too. ;)
