Cardabilities Reveal #15

Good morning!! It's that time again...time for another amazing Cardabilties sketch reveal! This is the 15th reveal I've been a part of and it amazes me that each and every sketch is so unique and easy to work with. I love it! This week's sketch is no different...



So versatile!! I decided to do a birthday card this week. I recently found a new love...Quickutz! These little dies cut like butter in my Cuttlebug and the best part about them is the price. At my LSS, the 2x2 dies are only $3.99! You can't beat that, right? ;) So anyway, one of my new dies is a balloon. I've wanted some sort of balloon die or punch FOREVER so I was thrilled to find one and wanted to use it right away. A birthday card seemed like a great idea...

EDCC Done!!

Today was the last day of my scrapping group's EDCC (Every Day Card Challenge) and it's so awesome that I made it through the entire month! There were a few days that were kind of tough, either because I was short on time or creativity, but I'm glad I pushed through and got them all done. It's a wonderful feeling of accomplishment. :)

I'm having so much fun making these cards! It's kind of hard for me to go back and forth between layouts and cards though...my mind just doesn't wrap around it right for some reason. Maybe it's the different sizes, I'm not sure. Hopefully soon though, I'll be able to find a happy medium doing both without any problems. Etsy Shop & Thank You Cards

Well, I took the plunge and opened an Etsy shop! I posted some cards a few days ago and some more today. I'm hoping that it'll eventually be a nice little business for me. ;)

I had my first sale today and it was my best friend Cathy! She asked me to email her once I had the shop set up so she could take a look and the next thing I knew, I got an email saying I'd recevied payment from her for 2 of my cards, lol. Isn't she cute? It was very sweet of her and nice that I can always remember she was my first customer. :)

I made up some little thank you cards today to send out with my sales and they turned out pretty cute...
