Layouts to share!

I've done a few pages lately that I haven't had the chance to share yet, so here they are. ;)

These first two pages are for my friend Cathy. She hasn't seen them yet so I'm hoping she likes them!

More layouts! I can't stop, lol...

I've been in such a scrappy mood the past couple of days and I LOVE it! My house on the other hand...ummm...could use some attention. But hey, what's more important...cleaning or SCRAPPING? No contest there, my friends, hehe. Am I right or am I right?!? ;) So anyway, let me share what I got done with you...

I did this layout of Emily last night. I just adore this picture of her. I took it at Chimney Rock Park, NC and that background is amazing!! When I found this quote, I knew it matched the picture perfectly...

Then this morning, I did this layout of Mark and myself with some pictures that my friend Amanda took of each of us last month. Even though we aren't together in the pictures, we were together at her house having fun, so I made the layout about that...

OH, and the cool thing about the scalloped border on this page is that I made it myself! I absolutely LOVE the look of the Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, but since I don't have one (YET, lol!!), I decided to do it on my own. I have a card that has a scalloped edge so I used it as a template and then hand cut the scallops. After that, I just used my eyelet punch to make the holes. Pretty nifty, huh? ;) I love the way it looks...

So there you go! My creative juices are still flowing so maybe I can whip something else up in the next little while. Have a great day!! :)

My little scrapper!

I did a layout about Emily today. She had to do a project for school and from the choices of the way to display it (written report, poster, scrapbook, etc.), guess which she chose?? A scrapbook, of course!! :)

She had a ton of fun making it and she did a really good job! She's done a few pages since then on her own and I'm saving them so that when she gets enough, I can make her an album with them in it. I'm so glad my baby will carry on my hobby! I'm a very proud mama. ;)
