Isn't that fabulous?  I am SO in love with this page.  It's one of my favorite pictures of my girls and I and the papers worked together with this sketch perfectly to show it off.  Times like this one...an everyday moment captured by a quick cell pic...this is why I scrapbook.  To remember those happy times that might otherwise be forgotten about.  It makes me so very thankful to be a scrapbooker today. :)

Make sure you pop over to Heather's blog to see what the other Miracles Momma Designs DT ladies did with this awesome sketch...you'll be inspired for sure!  Also, if you create something using it, be sure to link it up so we can check it out. ;) Thanks for taking the time to stop by today!

MMD Sketch #33

Good morning!  I have a new sketch from Heather at Miracles Momma Designs to share with you today that is FABULOUS!!!

Supplies: Fancy Pants Love Birds Collection - Kissame, Birds On A Wire, Sweetheart, Circle Of Love, Bunches Of Love, Strips; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; AC/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Roller Date Stamp; EK Success Embossed Curve Border Punch; Stampin' Up! Butterfly Punch; AC/Dear Lizzy Thickers - Berry; Basic Grey Button; Twine; Angelina Font

When I saw Heather’s sketch I was immediately drawn to the scalloped borders and took my inspiration from them to start my page. I had this awesome picture of my hubby and I and used it to journal to him about a favorite phrase of his that he always says to me. It's really special and I wanted to make sure that he always knows that. :) The page is simple and sweet but I absolutely love the result!

So how do you like the sketch?  If you are inspired by it to get creative yourself, please be sure to share your project with us over at the Miracles Momma Designs blog so we can all check it out. ;) Thanks for popping by for a visit!

MMD Sketch #31

Hello!  There's a new sketch from Miracles Momma Designs that I'd like to share with you today and it's AWESOME...

Supplies: Crate Paper Paper Heart Collection - Romance, Delicate, Petals, Delivery; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain, Spun Sugar; Studio Calico Mister Huey - Classic Calico, Piglet, Pretty Pink; AC/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Roller Date Stamp; Cocoa Daisy Stamps - Feathers; Paper Smooches Stamps - Geo-Graphic; One Little Dreamer Stamps - Happy Ending; EK Success Embossed Curved Border Punch; My Mind's Eye Lost & Found 3 Enamel Dots - Ruby; Cricut Title; A Little Pot Font

As soon as I saw the sketch I was totally inspired! I had these 3 Instagram pics of my hubby and I on New Year's Eve that worked perfectly for it, and all of the layers inspired me to mix in some different colors with my patterned papers. I even did some stamping in the background to add another layer which turned out great! I really love how it all came together and I seriously think I need to scrap us more because we make good looking pages, LOL! ;)

How do you like the sketch?  If you get creative with it, please be sure to link us up over at the MMD blog so we can all check it out!  Thanks so much for visiting me today...

So how do YOU like the sketch??  If you love it like I do and get creative using it, I'd love to check it out!  Also, be sure to pop over to Heather's blog and see what the other talented ladies on the DT created with it...you'll be inspired for sure!  Thanks for popping by today, and if this is your first visit, be sure to check out my earlier post about the newest Sketches In Thyme sketch...

MMD Sketch #25

Hello there my friends!! I'm really sorry that it's been such a long time since you've heard from me but I promise it's for a good reason...we bought a house!  We closed on the 17th of last month and have spent the last 3 weeks getting everything packed up and moved.  It's been CRAZY.  We're finally starting to get everything in it's place though and it feels absolutely amazing!  We couldn't be any happier. :)

Sooooooo I totally missed sharing the last sketch from Miracles Momma Designs with you.  I'm sure you won't mind it being a little late though because this one ROCKS!

Supplies: Studio Calico Sunny Side Up Paper; American Crafts Shoreline Collection - Vera; October Afternoon Woodland Park Collection - Blue Sky, Gooseberry Falls; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Tim Holtz Distress Marker - Walnut Stain; Studio Calico Mister Huey - Estate Green, Custard, Calico White, Pretty Pink; AC/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Roller Date Stamp; EK Success Embossed Curve Border Punch; Fiskars/Jenni Bowlin Tab Punch; Fiskars Flit On By Butterfly Punch; Basic Grey Konnichiwa Chipboard Alphas; Basic Grey Button

I am SO in love with the way this layout came together. I took these awesome pictures of my girls with my niece before and after an egg hunt at my mom's house this year and they worked perfectly with the sketch when I turned it sideways. I also got to play with Studio Calico's Summer of '69 kit which I recently won and had so much fun!

So what do you think of the sketch? Do you love it too? If you do and you create something with it, we'd love to see! You can link us up over at the Miracles Momma Designs blog and we'll pop by for a visit and leave you some love. ;) Thank YOU for popping by to see me today!

MMD Sketch #24

I've got a new sketch from Miracles Momma Designs to share with you this morning! It's an awesome 2 pager and as you can see from my layout, it can work great for 1 pagers too...

Supplies: Echo Park A Walk In The Park Collection - Mother Nature, Tree Tops, Element Cards; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Fiskars Flit On By Butterfly Punch; Pink Paislee Cushies - Meringue; Autumn Leaves Button; Just The Way You Are Font

I love that this sketch gives you so many places to use pictures, yet still gives you tons of journaling room. I used the left side as inspiration to make this Easter layout and it worked perfectly for the 4 pictures I wanted to use. :)

If you like the sketch and use it, I'd love to see what you do! Also, make sure you stop by the Miracles Momma Designs blog to see some other great examples of the DT using the sketch too. :) Thanks for stopping by to say hello!

MMD Sketch #23

Hello! Today I'm sharing the newest sketch from Miracles Momma Designs with you. This one is so unique and FUN!

Supplies: October Afternoon Daydream Collection - Garden Chain, Rain Boots, Paper Lanterns; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Studio Calico Mister Huey - Classic Calico, Piglet; Fiskars Round & Round Circle Punch; Martha Stewart 3-in-1 Classic Butterfly Punch; Martha Stewart Large Circle Cutter; My Mind's Eye Nostalgia Brads; Echo Park A Walk In The Park Alphabet Stickers

This picture is so precious. When my girls were little, they would sleep with us all the time, and we always loved having them there to snuggle with us. Every now and then, I'd wake up first and be able to capture a moment like this one. There's absolutely nothing like seeing this so many years later. It brings that time back so easily, and I love that...

As you can see, I decided to go with scallops instead of points for my layout, which shows you just how versatile sketches can be! Always remember that sketches are just a starting point...they can turn into whatever YOU want them to. ;) Please take a minute to visit Heather's blog to see what the other DT gals did with this one...you'll love it!

MMD Sketch #22

Good morning everyone! Today I have a new sketch from Miracles Momma Designs to share with you all, and this week Heather has created an awesome two pager! I don't do many two pagers myself, so instead I used the right side of the sketch as the inspiration for this layout I created about a wonderful Mother's Day dinner with my mom and sisters...

Supplies: Authentique Lively Collection - Spirited, Bright, Flutter; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Tim Holtz Distress Marker - Walnut Stain; Studio Calico Mister Huey - White; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Give Thanks; AC/Dear Lizzy Neapolitan Roller Date Stamp; Studio Calico Wood Veneers - Potty People; Martha Stewart Large Circle Cutter; Fiskars Nice Tri Punch; Fiskars Flit On By Punch; i-Rock; i-Rock Clear Gems; Basic Grey Buttons; You Won't Bring Me Down Font

Isn't that awesome?? I really love how it all came together! Now if you've been here a few times before, you may be thinking to yourself that you've already seen these pictures multiple times, and you'd be absolutely right! This is the third time I've scrapped them, lol...once for myself, once for my younger sister, and this latest one is for my mom. You'll see them once more some day soon since my older sister wants a layout also...just giving you a warning upfront. ;)

Please take a minute and head over to Heather's blog post for today and see what some of the other design team member's created...you'll be inspired for sure! Also, you'll have to excuse my slight obsession with the Potty People Wood Veneers from Studio Calico...I loooooooooooove them and I can't seem to stop using them lately, lol! I'm sure it's just one of those phases we all go through as crafters though, so I hope you don't get sick of seeing them before I move on to something else. :) Thanks for stopping by!

MMD Sketch #21

Good afternoon! I have a new sketch to share with you today from Miracles Momma Designs. :) This is a wonderful sketch that could be used in so many ways...

Supplies: My Mind's Eye Nostalgia Collection - Classic, Scallop, Label, Roses; My Mind's Eye Nostalgia Accessory Sheet; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Tim Holtz Distress Marker - Walnut Stain; Ali Edwards Stamps - Love Ali, Favorite Memories; Fiskars Nice-Tri Punch; Fiskars/Jenni Bowlin Tab Punch; Fiskars Round & Round Punch; Martha Stewart Circle Cutter; Studio Calico Wood Veneer Butterfly; My Mind's Eye Nostalgia Brads; Doily; Just The Way You Are Font

When I first saw the sketch, I thought that four blocks of patterned paper would work perfectly for it, and I had these two great pictures of Emily and myself that went right along with that idea. We were hanging out at my hubby's Nanny's house one day and she came over and snuggled up to me on the couch (which doesn't happen very often, so I was LOVING it!) and I made sure to snap some shots of us together. I knew I wanted to scrap them because I realized recently that I don't have enough pictures of myself in our scrapbooks. It's kind of hard to get in there more though when I'm always the one behind the camera, lol! I'm sure many of you understand that right? I've decided to really try and change that though, so I've made a promise to try and scrap myself more. This is a great start for that. ;)

Make sure you head over to Heather's blog post today and see what the other DT members did with the sketch (there are some fabulous pages!), and thanks for stopping by!

MMD Sketch #20

Good morning my friends! I have a FABULOUS sketch from Miracles Momma Designs to share with you today that I adore. Heather really hit it out of the park with this one!!

Supplies: Studio Calico Take Note Collection - Protractor; Crate Paper Paper Heart Collection - Love Letter, Cupid, Define, Delicate; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; ColorBox Chalk Ink - Gray Whale; Studio Calico Mister Huey - Clay; Studio Calico Stamp Set - Heyday Thoughts; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Simple Joy; Technique Tuesday Stamp Set - Good Times; EK Success Embossed Curve Border Punch; EK Success Scalloped Circle Punch; Fiskars Circle Punch; Stampin' Up! Heart-to-Heart Punch; Martha Stewart Large Circle Cutter; AC/Amy Tangerine Thickers - Goodness; Throw My Hands Up In The Air Computer Font

Seriously, could the sketch rock any more? ;) As soon as I saw the sun on it, I knew I wanted to use this amazing sheet of Studio Calico paper as my background. I've been hoarding...errrrr, saving it for a really long time and this turned out to be the perfect time to use it! I cut out every other set of rays and backed them with different patterned papers. I've seen a few different scrappers do this (one of my favorites being Sophie Crespy...you can see her page here), and have wanted to try it for myself for a while now. It's definitely a cool technique that I plan on trying again!

I am so in love with how this page turned out! The picture is SO precious to me because it's the very first time I held my daughter Emily. I had a C-section so I only got to look at her in the operating room and then it seemed like FOREVER before I finally had her in my arms! I will never forget that moment, and I'm so thankful to have this sweet photo that's now a beautiful layout that captures it for me.

Make sure you drop by Heather's blog and check out what the other DT members made...awesome I tell ya!

Thanks for taking a minute to stop by for a visit today! I may be back later if I get crafty...there are a few challenges ending today that I wanted to try so we'll see. ;)
