It's time for another EDLC!!

My scrapbooking group, Scrappin-N-Chattin, has decided to have another every-day-layout-challenge like we did back in February. The difference this time though is that it's for 30 days instead of 15! I've decided to join in because I need a boost for my mojo, and it already seems to be working great for me. ;) Here's my layout for day #1...

Supplies: BoBunny Paper - Love Bandit; Heidi Swapp "Love" Stamp; Studio G Alphabet Stamps - Series 3; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Slice; Slice Basic Shapes 1 Design Card; Slice Basic Shapes 2 Design Card; Basic Grey Button
*Inspired by a sketch on the Creative Scrappers blog on 4/13/10

I sooooooooo love these pictures! My friend Amanda took them when we were over at her house for dinner one night. Since I'm always the one holding the camera, I don't get many shots of myself with the girls, especially special ones like these. I will always treasure them...

For the EDLC this month, our hostess Mel has encouraged us to use sketches for inspiration, and I think it's an awesome idea! I hope you'll find some inspiration from the ones I use. Wish me luck on making it the entire 30 days! ;)

My sweet girl...

I finally had the chance to do some scrapping today and wow have I missed it! My Scrappin-n-Chattin group is having another 24 hour challenge this weekend and as the hostess, I figured I should participate. ;) The ladies in the group chose the sketch and papers I would work with. I'm so happy with their choices and I adore the finished page...

Supplies: Fancy Pants Papers - Vintage Valentine; Studio G Stamp Set; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Slice; Slice Basic Shapes 2 Design Card; Slice Fonts Design Card; Making Memories Sanding Block
*Inspired by 52 Sketches...52 Weeks Sketch #17

I can't believe that this picture is 8 years old! My sweet girl was only 2 at the time. It's crazy how fast time goes by, isn't it? Make sure you hug your babies...they grow up faster than you know!

Thanks so much for looking...have an awesome day and a great Memorial Day weekend! :)

Another wall hanging...

I did another wall hanging today, using the same awesome Scripture I used on the one I made the other day...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Classic Charlotte & Life's Journey; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Slice; Slice Basic Shapes 2 Design Card; Autumn Leaves Clear Buttons; Ranger Ink Glossy Accents; Twine; Crop-A-Dile

This one is much simpler than the other one, but I really like how it looks. Plus I got to have some fun making my own flower. ;) I found a great tip online that said to use the handle of a skinny paintbrush to curl the ends of your die-cut flowers up to give them some shape. So after cutting a couple out with my Slice and inking the edges, I tried it out and and it worked great! Thanks so much for looking...
