Another wall hanging...

I did another wall hanging today, using the same awesome Scripture I used on the one I made the other day...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Classic Charlotte & Life's Journey; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Slice; Slice Basic Shapes 2 Design Card; Autumn Leaves Clear Buttons; Ranger Ink Glossy Accents; Twine; Crop-A-Dile

This one is much simpler than the other one, but I really like how it looks. Plus I got to have some fun making my own flower. ;) I found a great tip online that said to use the handle of a skinny paintbrush to curl the ends of your die-cut flowers up to give them some shape. So after cutting a couple out with my Slice and inking the edges, I tried it out and and it worked great! Thanks so much for looking...

A new card to share...

I recently got some Scripture stamps from Verve Stamps and I am really loving them! The quality is wonderful and the image is very crisp and clear. Plus, at only $3 each, they're a great deal too. ;) I made a card the other day with one of the stamps and I just love how it looks...

Teacher Appreciation!

I wanted to make something for Emily's teacher for Teacher Appreciation this week. I thought about doing a mini album but I'm planning on doing one of those for the end of the year, so I decided on a wall hanging instead. I started with a plain wood heart that I grabbed at The Dollar Tree last year sometime and just decorated it like I would a layout...

Supplies: DCWV Paper Pad - Grade School Stack; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Walnut Stain; Prima Flowers; Bo Bunny Button - Kitchen Spice; Twine; Computer Font - CK Alis Hand

I'm so happy with how it turned out! I went in with Emily today and gave it to the teacher and she really loved it. :)

Moments (NSD Layout)

Over at scrapbook.com, they're having a HUGE National Scrapbooking Day celebration! There are $10,000 worth of prizes being handed out. Totally cool. ;) One of the challenges is an all day challenge to create a layout about why you scrapbook. Well, of course the first thing that popped into my head when I read that question was my sweet girls. So what else would I make my page about?? ;)

Supplies: BoBunny Paper - Flutter Butter; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Computer Font - CK Alis Hand; EK Success Border Punch - Diamond Lace; Martha Stewart Heart Confetti Punch; Jillibean Soup Alphabeans - Bean Brown; Slice; Slice Basic Shapes 2 Card; Making Memories Sanding Block; Recollections Pearls

I looooooooove how it turned out...most of all the journaling. It truly says why I do this and I'm happy I've got it down on paper for my sweeties to one day read. :)

I hope you're all having an awesome day...thanks so much for stopping by!
