EDCC - Day #1

Today my scrapping group is starting our Every Day Card Challenge. Unlike the layout challenge, this one is for 30 days, but since cards are quicker to create than layouts, I think I should be able to keep up just fine. ;)

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper Pad - Mellow; Paper Studio Scallop Circle Punch; Fiskars Circle Punches; Stampin' Up! "Thinking Of You" Stamp; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; American Crafts Brads
*Inspired by Mojo Monday Sketch #12

I probably won't be posting my card every day (both Madison and I are sick right now), but I'll definitely post them all at one time or another. Wish me luck!!

Family (EDLC Day #14)

Here is day #14! I am SO glad that I was able to do the entire challenge. It was really amazing to get 14 layouts done in 2 weeks. Hard some days, but definitely worth it. ;)

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Life's Journey; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Recollections Pearls; DMC Floss; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Making Memories Sanding Block; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Heidi Swapp "Family" Stamp

Our scrapping group is planning on doing another challenge like this in the summer, but that one will be for 30 days! I'll have to think about whether I can do it or not. I think I could, but we'll see how things are going then. :)

Thanks for checking out all of my EDLC pages...it's been great! Next week I plan to work on cards, so I should have some new ones to share soon. Have an awesome day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

My sweet hubby brought home 3 beautiful roses last night...one for me and then one for each of our girls. It's kind of our thing that he brings me a single red rose every now and then, and it's always so special to me. Now, the girls each get their own rose too. ;) Isn't he just the greatest?? I am so blessed...

I hope you all have an amazing Valentine's day with your families! I'll see you later today to share the last day of the EDLC with you...

Sweet (EDLC Day #13)

For day #13, I used this sweet picture of Emily. I truly can't belive that my baby just turned 10! This is an awesome picture of her because that smile shows who she really is on the inside...an amazing little girl who loves everyone around her and who wears her heart on her sleeve. This girl of mine makes me smile and be thankful to be her mommy...

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper - Blush; Making Memories Tiny Alphas - Chloe's Closet; K&Company Puffy Hearts Pillow Stickers

Wow, there's only one day of the challenge left! It's been tough some days but worth it because I've gotten so many pages done. I'm really glad I did it. :) I'll see you tomorrow...

Love (EDLC Day #12)

For day #12 of the EDLC, I decided to do another 8x8 page, and this time, it's my honey and me. I don't scrap pictures of the two of us enough, and that's something I definitely need to change. I love this man with my entire being. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, amazing husband a girl could ask for, and on top of that, the best daddy in the world. :)
I want to make sure that while I'm scrapping the pictures of our beautiful girls and our wonderful little family, that I also remember to scrap our love story. It needs to be told...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Classic; Heidi Swapp "Love" Stamp; Making Memories Tiny Alphas - Brown Ledger; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan

So I'm planning on scrapping this picture again sometime soon for us (as soon as I can get another copy), with a whole bunch of lovey, dovey, mushy journaling. That's what a love story should be about right? ;) Thanks for looking...and listening to me gush about my sweetie.
