Love (EDLC Day #12)

For day #12 of the EDLC, I decided to do another 8x8 page, and this time, it's my honey and me. I don't scrap pictures of the two of us enough, and that's something I definitely need to change. I love this man with my entire being. He is the most thoughtful, sweet, amazing husband a girl could ask for, and on top of that, the best daddy in the world. :)
I want to make sure that while I'm scrapping the pictures of our beautiful girls and our wonderful little family, that I also remember to scrap our love story. It needs to be told...

Supplies: K&Company Paper Pad - Classic; Heidi Swapp "Love" Stamp; Making Memories Tiny Alphas - Brown Ledger; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan

So I'm planning on scrapping this picture again sometime soon for us (as soon as I can get another copy), with a whole bunch of lovey, dovey, mushy journaling. That's what a love story should be about right? ;) Thanks for looking...and listening to me gush about my sweetie.

Be You (EDLC Day #11)

Another day finished! Today's another busy day for me so I got working on my page first thing. It's another 8x8 page for today too. I'm really loving this size, although there isn't really room for alot of journaling. In albums for other people, that's ok, but for me, I'm not so sure it would work. I'll have to think about it some more. ;)

Supplies: Sassafrass lass Paper Pad - Hog Heaven; K&Company Paper Pad - Roam; Fiskars Flower Punch; Martha Stewart Scallop Circle Punch; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan

Only 3 days to go in the challenge! Very exciting. :)

Rain (EDLC Day #9)

Another day done! I saw a post on the Cosmo Cricket blog this morning about a sketch challenge from 2/3, so I decided to try my hand at it. The sketch is based on a layout by Amy Parker, which is just gorgeous! I had alot of fun making my page and I really love how it turned out...

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Paper - Girl Friday; Fiskars Apron Lace Border Punch; Fiskars Heart Punch; Doodlebug Cardstock Loopy Lou Alphabet Stickers - Bon Bon; Making Memories Sanding Block

There's only 5 more days of the EDLC! I'm SO glad that I've made it this far. I never would have thought I could make a layout each day for 9 days in a row, so I'm a litle proud of myself. :) Here's hoping I make it the whole 14 days!

Remember (EDLC Day #8)

Here's another page that I finished yesterday, but not in time for a good picture. This is why I usually scrap during the day...I like to take my pictures right when I'm done and get them posted. Anyway, this is another 8x8 page and I kept it simple and sweet, like my girls. :)

Supplies: Basic Grey Paper - Delightful; K&Company Paper Pad - Classic; Making Memories Paper - FabricBrocade Greenhouse Paperie; Prima Flower; American Crafts Button, Lasting Impressions Scrappy Rubs - Inspire; Making Memories Sanding Block

I'm going to try really hard to get the other pages done each day before my light is gone. ;) Thanks for looking...

Laughter (EDLC Day #7)

I just got done with day #7 of my EDLC. I wanted to get started early because later I'll have my mind on FOOTBALL, not on scrapping. ;) I did another page for the 8x8 album I'm working on and I really love this one. It turned out exactly like I wanted it to...no scrapper's block today!

Supplies: Fancy Pants Paper - Simplicity & Key Lime Pie Collections; Slice (photo corners and circles for the lollipop flower); Fancy Pants Die Cut; Making Memories Button, Making Memories Sanding Block

I'll be back tomorrow with day #8. Go SAINTS!!!!! :)

My Sister (EDLC Day #6)

Here's another EDLC page that I finished yesterday, but it was at 11:50 pm, so I had no good light for a picture. I had some stuff to do yesterday and then once I got started scrapping, I was totally blocked. It was awful! I remembered about an 8x8 album I wanted to make for someone though, and that got the wheels turning. ;)

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket Paper Pad - Girl Friday; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Recollections Pearls; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; DMC Floss; Making Memories Sanding Block

One good thing I found out from this is that I just LOVE doing 8x8 pages! It's sooooooo much easier to fill the space and I really like how full the pages look. I'm thinking I may start doing some 8x8 albums for myself sometime soon... :)
