Good morning! It's time for me to share the layout I was working on with you! I created it with the August kit from Artful Delight, and I have to say that I just LOVE this page...

Supplies Used From The August Artful Delight Kit: Authentique Blissful Paper - Happiness & Euphoria; Glitz Vintage Blue Paper - Toile & Rose
Other Supplies Used: Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Jillibean Soup Corrugated Alphas & Flowers; Fiskars Circle Punches; Marvy Circle Punch; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punches; Recollections Pearls

Isn't it just beautiful? I've been trying to "go simple" lately and try to get more pages done and I think this is a perfect example of doing that! Quick and easy too. ;) I'm hoping to be able to create more pages like this one very soon.

If you love the look of this month's kit, then you should definitely get one for yourself because it's really amazing! I promise that you won't regret it one bit...

Teacher Card

I have a quick post to share with you this morning as we're headed out in just a few minutes. I saw the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays for this week and wanted to play along because it's totally something out of the ordinary...

Supplies: Papertrey Ink Rustic Cream Cardstock; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick; Unity "Children" Stamp; Maya Road Apple Stamp; Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher; Doodlebug Brads; Misc. Ribbon

The challenge was to make a clean & simple card that is 4x9! Crazy right? I love the idea of making unusual card sizes though because it gives you a completely different area to work with and can be alot of fun. I used it as an opportunity to make a cute teacher card for when school starts and I think it turned out great! I have a feeling I'll be trying more of these very soon. ;)

My Sweet Mom (Artful Delight)

It's a new month so it's time to share a layout I made using the August kit from Artful Delight with you! I absolutely LOVE the papers in this kit and couldn't wait to get creating with them. One of the sheets was perfect to scrap this picture of my sweet mom and I at my cousin's wedding last year...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight August Kit: Authentique Journey "Promenade" Paper; Glitz Vintage Blue "Motif" Paper; Bazzill Cardstock - Carribean Breeze; Kraft Outlet Vintage Dictionary Page
Other Supplies Used: Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Loving Words; Fiskars Butterfly Punch; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; I-Rock; I-Rock Clear Gems; Bazzill Flower; Prima Flower

Isn't that just SO pretty?? I love it!! One of my favorite parts is the center of the flower. I kept trying different buttons there and nothing looked right, so I pulled out my I-Rock and made my own center with some bling. It worked perfectly!

I took inspiration for my layout from the the August sketch at Artful Delight that fellow DT member Debbie created...

It's a great one! If you want to try your hand at creating something with the sketch, you'll be entered in the drawing to win the September kit for FREE! How awesome would that be? ;) You have until 8/23 to link up your project. Also, if you are totally loving this kit (like me!), make sure you grab one up quick because I'm thinking these will go fast...

Altered Notebooks (Artful Delight)

I have a project to share with you this morning that I created using my July kit from Artful Delight. The other night my sister and I were at our local Dollar Tree store when I found 3-packs of mini composition notebooks and just had to get some! They are around 5" x 3" and just the perfect size to throw into your bag or keep in your car...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight July Kit: My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly A Kite "Everyday" Alpha Paper; My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Out Of The Blue "Remember" Argyle Paper; Bazzill Cardstock - Lagoon; My Mind's Eye Lime Twist Fly A Kite Twine
Other Supplies Used: Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Unity Stamp; EK Success Dotted Scallop Border Punch; Basic Grey Precision File Set

Aren't they adorable? It was SO quick and easy to alter these and now I have two cute little books to use myself or share with a friend. ;) I seriously love that!

A new stamp that I love...

A couple of weeks ago, I was at Michaels and saw a Hero Arts stamp that I absolutely fell in love with! I'm sure you can see why by checking out the card set I made with it...

Supplies: Papertrey Ink Kraft Cardstock; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Fired Brick; Hero Arts Stamp - Blooming Meadow; Sentiments From Misc. Ali Edwards Stamp Sets; I-Rock; I-Rock Clear Gems

Aren't they gorgeous?? I really love how they look. I also have a great idea in mind to try using a bunch of different ink colors together and do a kind of rainbow watercolor effect...wouldn't that be great?? I'll be sure to share it with you if I get the chance to do it. ;) Thanks for stopping by!
