Create (Artful Delight)

Good morning friends! I wanted to let you know about a really cool blog hop that Leeanne (the owner of Artful Delight) is participating in today. It's a celebration of "no housework day"!! Seriously, how cool is that?? ;) Leeanne asked the Artful Delight DT if we would create something for her to share as part of the blog hop, and I was happy to join in! I decided that if I had no housework, I would be creating something, and this is what I came up with to show that...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight April Kit: October Afternoon "Modern Homemaker" Paper - Clothespins & Cherry Pie; American Crafts Cardstock - Crimson
Other Supplies Used: Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Simply You & Favorite Memories; Heidi Swapp Clear Alphabet Letters; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Espresso; Ranger Stickles - Christmas Red; Papertry Ink Doily Die; Papertrey Ink Butterfly Dies; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; Tim Holtz Adage Tickets; Tim Holtz Filmstrip Ribbon; Tim Holtz Metal Clock; Tim Holtz Mini Paperclips; Basic Grey Buttons

I am SO in love with how this turned out!! There aren't many times that I let myself just start putting things down without planning where everything will go, but I did with this and it worked out great. ;) I love it so much that it's already framed and up on my wall! So, if you want to be part of a really cool blog hop, make sure you visit Leeanne's blog here and see how to get hopping! ;)

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)

Memories Notebook (Artful Delight)

Hello!! I'm sorry it's been a while since my last post but I have been crazy busy! I was able to find some time to create yesterday though and had some fun with the March kit from Artful Delight. :) The other day at Wal-Mart, I was looking for a small notebook for my purse to write notes/journaling ideas/etc in. I found one that was the perfect size but I wasn't all that crazy about the design, sooooooo, what's a scrapper to do? Alter it of course!!

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight March Kit: Little Yellow Bicycle Twig Paper - Petaled, Wood You Be Mine (Fern), Leaf A Note, Decorative Edge Cardstock; Basic Grey Marjolaine Felt Woolie; Twine

Other Supplies Used: Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Favorite Memories; EK Success Dotted Scallop Border Punch; Ranger Ink Glossy Accents; Recollections Pearls

I absolutely LOVE how cute this turned out to be, and the coolest part is that every time I go to write something down, I get to look at it again. Pretty awesome right?? ;) I also had some fun making my own flower using the twine from the kit and some Glossy Accents. It was SO easy to do and looks great! I can't wait to make some more of them.

So are you feeling inspired to alter your own little notebook? If you happen to, please share a link with me because I'd love to see it. :) Just a warning though...it's addictive, lol! Also, if you're thinking you might want to grab a March kit for yourself, do it quick because there's only 1 left in stock!

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)
