Happy

Good morning!! I wanted to share a layout with you today that I made last weekend. This is one of those pages that I absolutely LOVE and can't stop looking at it...

Supplies: October Afternoon Paper - Campfire; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Wild Honey; Technique Tuesday/Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Favorite Memories; Fiskars Circle Punch; Fiskars Star Punch; EK Success Photo Corner Punch; Jillibean Soup Corrugated Alphabet - Kraft; American Crafts Button; Paint; Making Memories Sanding Block
*Inspired by the 7/21/10 Sketch at Sassy Lil Sketches

Maybe it's the look on Madison's face. Maybe it's the bright, bold colors of the papers. Maybe it's the fabulous sketch design I used. Maybe it's the title made with those yummy corrugated letters. Maybe it's all of the above, lol! I don't know for sure what it is, but I just adore it completely...

Have an awesome Saturday and thanks for popping in! ;)

Nice right? I sat down last night and made a layout with the sketch and it turned out SO cute!! I drew my inspiration from the small square and did an 8x8 layout for my daughter's birth scrapbook. It turned out to be just right for my page!

Other Supplies Used: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peeled Paint; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Recollections Pearls

I so looooooove this page!!! The wonderful kit definitely made it all come together pretty easily, which is awesome because it gives me even more time to get creative. ;)

If you like Debbie's sketch and think you've got an idea in mind to use it for, be sure you link up your project here for your chance to win. One participant will be randomly chosen to receive April's kit for FREE! Pretty great prize, I think...

"April, I love the sketch book idea. Much better than the big stack of papers I have laying all over my work space. Good idea. Ann O"

Congrats Ann!!! Please email me at scrapperforever08@yahoo.com with your address. :)
I hope you enjoy your stamps!

Good morning and welcome to The Paper Variety's very first blog hop!! We are all SO excited to have you do our hop, be inspired, and try to win some goodies along the way. ;)

You should be coming from Jan's blog, so if you didn't, please make sure to go back to The Paper Variety and start from the beginning. You definitely don't want to miss a single blog!

The theme of our hop is a color challenge, which I am SUPER excited about because it's all about GREEN...

I love the color green and am always excited to find ways to use it in my scrapping, so I was more than happy about this challenge. I've wanted to make a sketch book for a while now, full of some of my favorite sketches that I've found online, and this gave me the perfect excuse to get it done...

Supplies: October Afternoon Paper - Fly A Kite; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Espresso; Cuttlebug; Papertrey Ink Butterfly Die; Crop-A-Dile; We R Memory Keepers Corner Chomper; Making Memories Tiny Alpha Stickers - Chloe's Closet; Basic Grey Button; Twine

Is that awesome or what?? :) I love how it turned out and I've already put it to great use. Plus there's room to add more sketches, which is fabulous!

Sooooo, a blog hop is always more fun when there's CANDY involved right?? ;) Well, we've got lots! There's a chance for you to win at each blog and there's also a chance to win a grand prize sponsored by Your Scrapbook Stash ...

In order to win the grand prize, you have to do some creating for us. Using our theme, just create a project of your own using at least 50% GREEN! Once you do, link it up over at The Paper Variety by noon on Tuesday, 3/8, and you'll be in the running. Pretty easy right? I can't wait to see all the amazing entries I know we'll have!

I'm also giving away some candy which is an awesome Autumn Leaves "Snap Frame Alpha" stamp set!

All you have to do for your chance to win my candy is leave me a comment...no creating needed! Also, if you happen to like what you see on my blog and would like to become a follower, that would be awesome too, but it's not required for your chance to win. ;) I'll choose a winner next Tuesday...

So, now it's time for you to continue on in the hop. The next place you'll be visiting is Mindy's blog, where I'm sure you'll be inspired because she does amazing work. Thanks so much for joining in our hop today...I hope you have fun!

Fruit of The Spirit (Artful Delight)

Goooooood morning!!! I am SO glad that I finally had a chance to do some more creating with the February kit from Artful Delight! It's been a crazy month with my girls both getting Strep and then making me sick also, so I haven't had much time to do any crafting. Thankfully everyone is feeling much better now and yesterday I got to work. ;)

The papers in this kit are SO pretty...almost too pretty to cut into! I really loved all the greens so I decided to make something based around that color (which happens to be my fav!) and this wall hanging just came to life...

Supplies Used From The February Artful Delight Kit: Graphic 45 Once Upon A Springtime Papers - Enchanted Forest & Woodland Fantasy; My Minds Eye So Sophie Savvy Die-Cut Frame; Kaisercraft Pearls

Other Supplies Used: Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Peeled Paint; Crop-A-Dile; Fiskars Scallop Border Punch; Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch; DCWV Vellum Quote; Bazzill Flower; Prima Flower; Basic Grey Button

I think it turned out great!! I already have a perfect person in mind to give it to, and I just know she'll really love it. :)

So, were you lucky enough to get your hands on a kit this month? I know they're already sold out, so if you wanted one, I hope you grabbed it up! If not, don't worry...next's months kit will also be amazing and you can preorder one just as soon as Leeanne is able to get the preview up for it. Trust me, you'll love it, so don't wait if you want one!

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)
