The Paper Variety Challenge #17!

Goooooood morning!!! It's time to share another challenge with you from The Paper Variety. This week is a sketch and since I absolutely LOVE working with sketches, I got SO excited when I saw it! It turned out to be just perfect for these first-day-of-school pics of my girls from this year...

Supplies: October Afternoon Collection Pack - Report Card; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Fiskars Circle Punches; Martha Stewart Heart Confetti Punch; BoBunny Alphabet Stickers; Making Memories Sanding Block; Martha Stewart Scoring Board, Ranger Glossy Accents

Is that cute or what?? I'm so happy with how it turned out. I even had some fun making my own scalloped circle and flower! Both were super easy to do and look great too. :)

You should definitely check out what the other DT members created...they all rocked this sketch!! We would really like it if you'd play along and create a project of your own using the sketch too. If you do, make sure you upload it to TPV's blog by 12 pm EST next Tuesday the 25th. After that, a winner will be chosen to get both of these amazing prizes...

Blessed (Artful Delight)

I did some more creating with the January kit from Artful Delight a few days ago and boy was it fun! I made a mini album and altered a jar that had Papertrey ink buttons in it...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight January Kit: Little Yellow Bicycle Cupcake Love Paper - Polkahearts & Mini Plaid Multi; Kaisercraft Flower Rhinestone (Cut Apart)

Other Supplies Used: American Crafts White Cardstock; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Worn Lipstick; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Snow Cap; Cuttlebug; Cuttlebug 2-Step Heart #2 Die; Quickutz Sunburst Die (For Banner); Papertrey Ink Butterfly Dies; Fiskars Heart Punch; Fiskars Circle Punch; Crop-A-Dile; i-rock, i-rock Pink Gems; Doodlebug Loopy Lou Cardstock Alphabet Stickers - Lily White; Bazzill Flower; Basic Grey Button; Twine

Cute stuff right?? The mini album is full of blank pages inside, just waiting to be filled! I gave it to my sister for her birthday yesterday and I think she really loved it! And the jar...I'm keeping that for myself, and it sure looks ready to be filled with some yummy candy don't you think?? ;)

I seriously have to tell you that I'm amazed at all the wonderful product you get in these kits! Leeanne does an awesome job putting them together. Sadly, January's kit is sold out, but I'll continue to share the projects I make with it so that you can see how much you can do with a kit. Plus, February will be here before you know it so maybe that'll be your time to grab one up and see what you can do!

Just a note: I receive the Artful Delight monthly kit for free because I'm a DT member, but please be assured that my opinions are my own! Anything I say about these kits is how I truly feel. ;)

Congrats Ashley!! I'll be contacting you asap. :)
Thank you so much everyone for your sweet comments!!

Edited to add: Due to some broken links, our blog hop has sadly been canceled. :( You can still win though...my prize up for grabs to a lucky person who leaves a comment on this post! Also, some of the other DT members are still offering their prizes as well, and there's a great prize at the Cardabilities blog too, so there is still fun to be had. :)

Today is such an exciting day for Cardabilities! Not only do I get to share sketch #21 with you, but I also get to let you know about our very first blog hop! It's our one year celebration and we're all super excited. ;) First let me share the sketch and the card that I created with it.

Supplies: Cosmo Cricket 6x6 Paper Pad - Togetherness; Technique Tuesday/Ali Edwards Stamp Set - Loving Words; Colorbox Chalk Ink - Chestnut Roan; Craft Smart Ink - Chocolate Brown; Cuttlebug; Cuttlebug 2-Step Heart #2 Die; Misc. Buttons

I think this is a great sketch with a ton of possibilities! It's definitely one of those that you can easily make your own and go alot of different directions with, and it'll still work out great every time. :)

And now here is all of the information about our blog hop...

---------------

Firstly...Begin hopping to Design Team Blogs as listed at the bottom of each Designer Blog. Your first Hop is over to Karan's Blog. Beware…there is an order for you to follow.

Secondly…For our followers to be considered for the final Sponsor Giveaway, you need to hop to all the Designers Participating in the Hop. On those blogs, you will find a highlighted word in BLUE. Find the highlighted word and leave some feedback. All these highlighted words form a catch phrase about Cardabilities.

Thirdly...You need to comment on each Designer Blog to be considered for each individual RAK the Design Team Members are offering.

Lastly...You will need to put that “catch” phrase together and bounce back to the Cardabilities site to leave your final comment and the “catch” phrase to be considered for the Sponsor Giveaway.

You'll have three days to complete the hop…
January 15th-Jan 18th

Winners of each DT Blog Rak and the Final Sponsor Giveaway prize will be posted Jan 20

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE

Heart (Artful Delight)

I finally had a chance to sit down with my January kit from Artful Delight today and do some creating! Let me just tell you, this kit is awesome!! As soon as I saw what was in it, I knew I'd have alot of fun because seriously, tell me what mommy of two sweet girls wouldn't love all this PINK??

*You can see a list of the kit contents and order your own here...

How fabulous is that?? The papers are gorgeous and all of the embellishments go along with them perfectly. :) We also have another amazing sketch this month, which I used to create this layout of my baby girl on the day she was born...

Supplies Used From The Artful Delight January Kit: Little Yellow Bicycle Cupcake Love Paper - Mini Plaid Multi & Lollipop Stripe; Little Yellow Bicycle Epoxy Button; Little Yellow Bicycle Heart Pin; Little Yellow Bicycle Flower Button Dot; Kaisercraft Flower Rhinestone (Cut apart)

Other Supplies Used: American Crafts White Cardstock; Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Worn Lipstick; Cuttlebug; Quickutz Sunburst Die (For Banner); Martha Stewart Heart Confetti Punch; Adirondack Paint Dabber - Snow Cap; Doodlebug Loopy Lou Cardstock Alphabet Stickers - Lily White; Colorbok Vellum Quote; Bazzill Flower; Doily

I can't believe that this tiny baby just turned 11!! It really amazes me how fast my children are growing up and I sure wish they'd cut it out, lol. ;)

So what do you think of the sketch? Fellow DT member Debbie created it for us and I think she did a great job! It's very versatile and could easily be used for layouts, cards, and pretty much anything else you can think of. Do you think you'd like to try your hand at using it? If so, you can enter your project over at the Artful Delight blog for a chance to win February's kit for FREE! And trust me...from what I've heard about it so far, it's going to be amazing! Thanks for stopping by today and good luck if you enter. :)
