Well, the sun finally came out...sort of, lol. I was able to get a few quick pictures of the cards I made today and yesterday, and then it disappeared again behind some majorly dark clouds. I think I see rain in my future... ;)

I used the same paper pad for both of these (and a few others recently) and I am realllllllly loving it. The colors are just gorgeous!! I'd have to say it's definitely one of my all time favs. :)

I'm trying to get some more pages done for my best friend (and sister-in-law) Cathy because she's coming to visit Thursday! I'm very excited to see her since she lives 8 hours away and we get to hang out for a whole week! ;)

This layout is about her youngest daughter's first birthday. I really love how the page turned out...

I'm having so much fun making these cards! It's kind of hard for me to go back and forth between layouts and cards though...my mind just doesn't wrap around it right for some reason. Maybe it's the different sizes, I'm not sure. Hopefully soon though, I'll be able to find a happy medium doing both without any problems. For now, I'll just continue with the cards and when a layout idea hits me, I'll go with it. ;)

I am SO excited!!

I made my first design team! Karan Gerber, who owns Sketchabilities recently opened up another site called Cardabilities, and put out a design team call. I applied for it and found out last Sunday that I made it!
