Layouts that I love!!

Here are a couple of new layouts I've done over the past couple of days that I reallllly love...

*Inspired by the layout seen here

*Based on a sketch at Inspired Blueprints

I think it's because the papers (from the K&Company Classic Paper Pad) match so well and are so pretty! Plus, the pictures are ADORABLE so that helps too, of course. ;)

A couple of new cards...

I made these earlier this week, but I couldn't share them before because they were for Mother's Day. ;) I'm having SO much fun making all of these cards! It's nice to have another way to create things other than just layouts...

Thanks for looking...have an awesome day!!

More layouts to share...again!

I've really been on a roll this week and I'm loving it! Ok, so let me share what I did last night/this morning with you...

This first layout has me and my sweet girls playing a game of Go Fish on it. We were in the middle of the game when Mark came home from work, and he grabbed my camera and took a few shots for me. How sweet is he?? I love how the page turned out...

The second layout is one that I am realllly loving. I'm in a scrapping group called Scrapping-4-God and we try to do challenges each month. In April we had 2 choices, and one of them was to create a page about what music means to you in your faith. Well, I LOVE music, especially Christian music, so that was the perfect choice for me! To make it a little fun, I cut some definitions out of a piece of paper I had (K&Company Life's Journey) and "filled" the heart with them to show that my heart is full of all of those feelings when I listen to music. I think it gives a really nice effect!

So that's it from me for today. I have got some serious cleaning to do and bills to pay. Thanks for looking...I hope you have an awesome afternoon! :)

We love the beach!

I worked on this layout for Cathy yesterday and I'm so happy with how it turned out!

It's such a great way to use alot of pictures and still have room for journaling and a little bit of embellishments, isn't it? I'm sure I'll do a similar one for myself soon... ;)

More layouts! I can't stop, lol...

I've been in such a scrappy mood the past couple of days and I LOVE it! My house on the other hand...ummm...could use some attention. But hey, what's more important...cleaning or SCRAPPING? No contest there, my friends, hehe. Am I right or am I right?!? ;) So anyway, let me share what I got done with you...

I did this layout of Emily last night. I just adore this picture of her. I took it at Chimney Rock Park, NC and that background is amazing!! When I found this quote, I knew it matched the picture perfectly...

Then this morning, I did this layout of Mark and myself with some pictures that my friend Amanda took of each of us last month. Even though we aren't together in the pictures, we were together at her house having fun, so I made the layout about that...

OH, and the cool thing about the scalloped border on this page is that I made it myself! I absolutely LOVE the look of the Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch, but since I don't have one (YET, lol!!), I decided to do it on my own. I have a card that has a scalloped edge so I used it as a template and then hand cut the scallops. After that, I just used my eyelet punch to make the holes. Pretty nifty, huh? ;) I love the way it looks...

So there you go! My creative juices are still flowing so maybe I can whip something else up in the next little while. Have a great day!! :)

Some layouts for Cathy...

I want to share a couple of layouts I got done for Cathy last night/this morning. They are soooo cute! ;)

The first one has a great picture on it that she took of her kids last summer. It's just amazing, isn't it? :) I loved the picture so much, I kept the layout very simple so it wouldn't take away from it...

The second page has a really awesome story behind it. Right now, my brother-in-law (Adam) is in Iraq. Before he left, they took a trip to Build-A-Bear to get some special bears for the kids. The bears all have voice boxes inside with a message from Adam to each of the kids...in his voice. How cool is that? ;) Anyway, Cathy wanted me to put the names that the kids all chose for their bears on the layout and title it "Introducing...", so that's what I did and I think it turned out great!

So that's it for now. I'm still trying to work on some more pages for her but Maddie seems to think it's her turn on the computer, so we'll see, lol...

As cute as can be!

Cute is right!! I did this page of Maddie a couple of nights ago and I think it's just precious...

I finally (I say finally because I've wanted some for months now!) got a set of flourish stamps a couple of weeks ago. I found some cheap and was able to use a coupon so in the buggy they went. ;) The other day, I decided to try using one on a layout for the first time. I stamped in both corners and also along the edges of my photo mat. I think it gives a really nice effect! I know I'll be using these stamps alot on future pages... :)
