Here's the next page for my Scripture challenge...

I loved doing this one! The verse I found was absolutely perfect...especially as a mommy. :)

Scripture Challenge - Protection

I was able to get 2 pages done today...a layout for Cathy and my next Scripture challenge layout. Since I just finished Cathy's layout a few minutes ago, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to share it with you so I can get a good picture of it outside. For now, here's the Scripture challenge one...

I really love this verse!! What better feeling could we possibly have than knowing our precious Lord is watching over us all the time? There's nothing that could make me feel more safe than that... :)

Scripture Challenge - Listen

I did my next Scripture challenge layout today. This word is so important! We have to open up our ears...and our hearts...to hear what the Lord is telling us everyday. We may not always realize at first that He's actually telling us something, but if we pay close attention and catch those moments, we will be even more blessed. That's a great feeling, isn't it?? :)

*Inspired by Shanna Vineyard's "Lucky Me Grateful" journal seen here

I did more sewing on this layout and it was great! It's so much fun trying something new and actually having it work out the way you want it to. My next try will be on a 12x12 page...wish me luck, lol! ;)

Scripture Challenge - Live

I got another layout for my Scripture challenge done on Saturday night. I had so much fun with it!! My totally AWESOME sister bought me a sewing machine a few months ago and I've wanted to try using it on some paper, so I did and I really love how it looks! It adds such a nice touch to the page...

When I was looking for a verse for the word live, I read this one and knew it was a perfect fit. Christ lives IN ME! Isn't that just amazing to know?? :)

Catch me if you can!

Ok, here's the layout I did for myself with the same paper I used on Cathy's layout below, but it's a totally different look. I love how much you can change things up by tearing papers or cutting them...

This picture is of the girls running home from the bus stop. It's so funny that they always race to the house and try to catch each other on the way, lol! A perfect memory to scrap, right? :)

My Dadee & Me

I got another layout for Cathy's album done over the weekend. This is her hubby Adam and their youngest daughter Abbey, sharing some hugs and kisses. Are they cute or what?? :)

*Based on a May 2007 sketch at Page Maps

The patterned paper I used is from the SEI Dill Blossom collection, which I just ADORE. It's the pack I told you about before that I liked so much, I bought one for Cathy and another one for myself. ;) I actually did a layout with the same paper that day for me too, lol! I'll be posting that one next...

Sick day layouts...

I've been sick all day...well, actually since yesterday, ugh. What better way is there to pass the time when you feel like crap (and can't sleep because of your crazy 3 year old, lol!), than by scrapping, right? :) So, here's what I accomplished today...

The first page is one I actually started a couple of weeks ago. I had the rectangle shape all cut out and stitched on and then I totally blanked on what to do next, so I put it away. I took it out today and decided to use these 2 pictures of the girls having some snuggle time last December, and I think it turned out great!

This next page has pictures from the 4th of July last year on it. Are you asking yourself where all of the red, white & blue is?? ;) Well, since we just played together all day and didn't go see fireworks or really do anything holiday related, I didn't want to use the normal colors. I decided instead to focus on the background of the pics and use those tones instead. I think it works since we kind of pop off the page a little more...since we actually WERE dressed for the 4th, lol!!

The last page is my beautiful girls, once again posing for some pics for their camera crazy mommy. I love how they are always so willing to do that for me! All I have to do is tell them to "say cheese!!" and they're both all grins. :) I did some hand stitching along the left side of this one and I am realllly happy with how it turned out. I think it fits the feel of the layout perfectly!

So that's it for today. Well, I actually made a card too but I'll share that with you later...I'm beat! I'm gonna try to rest a little before dinner since both girls are quiet and happy...yay! Thanks for looking...
